We are seeking an experienced and motivated GP Reception Manager to lead our front-of-house team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of reception services and maintaining excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the reception team, ensuring high levels of professionalism and efficiency.
2. Coordinate staff rotas, holiday planning, and cover to maintain adequate reception support.
3. Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to reception staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
4. Handle patient inquiries and concerns, resolving issues effectively and professionally.
5. Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to streamline patient flow and enhance practice operations.
6. Monitor and improve appointment booking systems to meet patient demand and practice capacity.
7. Ensure compliance with practice policies, NHS standards, and confidentiality requirements.
8. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff for their development.
About You:
1. Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, ideally within a healthcare setting.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
4. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
5. Proficiency in using patient management systems (e.g., EMIS, SystmOne) and Microsoft Office.
6. Knowledge of GP practice operations, NHS guidelines, and confidentiality policies is advantageous.
