Marketing Coordinator

The Role:
1. Reporting into the Marketing Manager you will develop & manage local marketing plans – from planning & delivery to post activity review, working closely with Area Managers & General Managers.
2. Responsible for managing monthly reviews of marketing plans – understanding what is working & creating action plans.
3. Identifying new opportunities through business networking, knowledge of the local areas and working closely with the restaurant teams.
4. Work with the wider marketing team to develop & deliver an annual marketing calendar with planned creative content, promotions and news, across all platforms.
5. Support the Social Media Manager with ideas to optimise social presence & creating local content with restaurant teams.
6. Blog & local event blog creation including copy writing & build using Wordpress.
7. Day to day management of the website (Wordpress) ensuring the site is regularly updated with local activity.
8. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency across all marketing comms.
Essential Requirements:
9. Strong time management and coordination skills
10. Monthly reporting of all activity
11. Hard working with an ability to multi-task
12. A passion for food & dining out
13. Driving license & own car
Beneficial Requirements:
14. Understanding & experience of CRM systems & segmentation
15. Website management (Word Press or equivalent CMS sites)PPC (AdWords & Pmax)
16. Social Media – organic, paid & community management (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.)
17. SEO – organic & paid

18. You will be full of personality, spark and charm
19. Can think creatively and can voice your ideas
20. Have a valid marketing qualification & at least 18 months working experience in a marketing role
21. Ideally have knowledge of marketing in restaurant and hospitality
22. Be able to respond well to pressure
23. Be proactive with ability to use your initiative
24. Confident, organised & methodical
25. You will be an excellent team player, able to communicate at all levels and commit to sharing your knowledge & skills across teams
26. Be focused on delivering an outstanding guest experience through great local marketing
27. Be flexible to work at the weekend & evenings if needed– this isn’t a Mon-Fri 9am -5pm
28. You are able to commit to travelling to restaurants & hold a full UK driving licence.
