Hotel Receptionist
Location: Galgorm Collection Resort
Join the team at Galgorm Collection Resort, home to luxury suites, deluxe rooms, riverside cabins, and cottage suites set within stunning grounds. With a variety of award-winning restaurants and Ireland’s first Thermal Village & Spa, we offer a truly unique experience for our guests.
We are seeking a welcoming and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. You will manage check-ins and check-outs, operate the main switchboard, and provide expert knowledge about the Resort and the local area.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Handle guest queries via phone, post, online, and in person.
* Maintain a strong knowledge of Galgorm Collection services to assist with bookings and inquiries.
* Identify and maximize sales opportunities.
* Follow reception procedures and complete daily administrative tasks.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
About The Role
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
* At least 6 months of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous reception experience.
* Confident IT skills, including Word and Excel.
* Passion for the hospitality industry.
* Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Warm, friendly, and professional attitude with pride in appearance.
* Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and evenings.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
* Experience working as a switchboard operator.
