BAS delivers and enables world-leading interdisciplinary research in the Polar Regions. By working closely with BAS digital leadership, you'll ensure our transformation efforts are aligned and drive maximum value across our science, operations, innovation and corporate services. Current projects the team are working on include a broad and evolving scope of initiatives that will shape the digital future for BAS. From modernising core business systems to streamlining operational processes to driving innovation by utilising cutting edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, the work spans all aspects of digital transformation. Some of your main responsibilities: - To support Digital Leaders across BAS to secure additional funding to help deliver the digital elements of the BAS Strategy - Work with the Digital Strategy Group to identify and prioritise opportunities for adoption of new digital technologies across BAS - Develop new collaborations outside of BAS, to advance the digital transformation agenda. This will involve close working with Digital Leadership in NERC and its research centres - Ensure clear and convincing communication of the digital transformation agenda across BAS, developing case studies to demonstrate the benefits and impact - To help drive integration of digital tools and infrastructure across teams - To represent the priorities identified by the BAS Digital Leads and the Digital Strategy Group to internal and external stakeholders - Identify and address barriers to adoption and integration of digital technologies into BAS.
