Our client is looking to hire a part-time E-Commerce Manager into the business to manage the day-to-day promotion and maintenance of an electronic components online store. This role is offered on a permanent, employed basis but the employer would also consider taking on somebody in a freelance capacity if that were the preference of the candidate. The role is due to be working between 24-30 hours per week and can be done entirely remotely (within the UK only) or as a hybrid work model if the successful candidate preferred. Our client’s main office is based in Suffolk, near to Ipswich. The Company Our client is a well-established business sourcing and supplying electronic components for a wide range of markets. The small team is mainly based at the company’s headquarters in Suffolk; however, this role is offered on a remote or hybrid basis with occasional visits to the company’s Suffolk headquarters. Though this is dependent on the candidate’s preference. The Job Working closely with the Managing Director, you’ll be managing a new e-commerce website for a new brand of the business using WordPress. This will involve implementing improvements and pushing for new business via the effective promotion of the site, updating and maintaining it’s offering to ensure a competitive UK alternative to the company’s competitors.
