Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll take on exciting and varied responsibilities that include:
Inspiring Leadership:
1. Overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of our engineering field staff to achieve seamless performance.
2. Crafting and managing the on-call rota to ensure customers are delighted by our service, while stepping in as needed to provide exceptional support.
3. Tackling complex site investigations and meeting customer requests head-on.
Empowering Your Team:
1. Attracting top talent and providing an onboarding experience that sets the stage for success.
2. Driving your team’s growth with tailored training and development plans.
3. Coaching and mentoring to unlock the full potential of every team member and foster career progression.
4. Elevating skills and expertise to meet the evolving needs of our industry.
Championing Excellence:
1. Ensuring that every job meets our high standards, with rigorous audits and timely feedback.
2. Leading the charge on safety and compliance, managing RAMS, PPE, tool box talks, van audits, and accident investigations.
Technical Trailblazing:
1. Becoming the go-to expert for technical queries, providing clarity and solutions to your team and the office.
2. Contributing to revenue generation by resolving escalations and tackling aged works with precision.
Building a Winning Culture:
1. Conducting impactful annual appraisals and hosting engaging team meetings that inspire and align.
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for someone with the skills and drive to lead in a fast-paced environment:
1. Extensive industry experience and mastery of technical standards and legislation.
2. A proven ability to deliver under pressure and meet tight deadlines with confidence.
3. A natural leader with experience coaching and developing teams (5+ years preferred).
4. 5+ years’ expertise in fire and security systems.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and a bonus for knowledge of CASH for Windows.

Other Information
1. Permanent hybrid role based in the Midlands, Leeds, Manchester, or Yorkshire.
2. Competitive salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, based on skills and experience (40-hour workweek).
