I am looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to work in the Rochester area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.
Role: Senior Project Engineer- Mechanical
Location: Rochester
Contract: Freelance
Rate: £450-500 per day
When: ASAP

Duties will include:
1. Assist with the Project Management
2. Assist in the production of the contract programme
3. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
4. Liaise with site management on design and procurement
5. Assist in the preparation of the construction completion and take over
6. Technical coordination
7. Challenge all stakeholders to identify opportunities
8. Work closely with Project Quantity Surveyor to generate cost plans
Skills Required:
9. Project Engineering experience
10. Experience of delivering utilising NEC3 form of contract
11. Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline.
12. Preferably APMP or equivalent
13. Previous experience within water treatment (Non-Infrastructure)
14. Previously mechanical project engineering background preferred
Skills Desirable:
15. Ambitious and dynamic personality
16. MEICA/Civil works multi-disciplined interfacing
17. Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
18. Someone with a commitment to Right first time
