We are recruiting a talented Finance Manager to lead a high-performing finance team based in central Leeds. This role focuses on leadership, coaching, and process improvement, ensuring best practices and financial control across the organisation.
Role Responsibilities
1. Lead and develop a team of seven finance professionals, fostering a culture of empowerment and collaboration.
2. Oversee financial controls, ensuring compliance and efficiency while driving continuous process improvement.
3. Manage month-end and year-end financial reporting, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to maintain high financial standards.
5. Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development processes within the finance team.
Person Specification
1. Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
2. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience coaching and mentoring finance professionals.
3. Skilled in financial reporting, process optimisation, and implementing effective financial controls.
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
5. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying opportunities for improvement.
