This role manages and develops business relationships with selected clients to deliver effective objectives and strategies that ensure retention and growth, with the target to increase volumes, revenue and profitability. The Opportunity: Ensure clear communications within the business when it concerns the assigned clients Maintain and develop business relationships with selected clients, and establish productive and professional connections with key personnel within the assigned client portfolio. Work with finance to ensure credit terms and conditions are adhered to and support operational query resolution Proactively assess, clarify, and validate client’s requirements on an ongoing basis Lead solution development efforts that best address clients’ needs, including but not limited to: SOP creation and maintenance, monitoring operational compliance, and systems implementation and integrity. What you'll need to succeed: Knowledge and understanding of supply chain solutions, and how the flow of goods, information and costs are connected in the supply chain Able to articulate and sell the features and benefits of a range of services, including Airfreight, Sea-Air Combined, Oceanfreight and Roadfreight, as well as Supply Chain and Logistics management, Customs Brokerage products, and value-added solutions Experience in sales negotiation, closing and maintaining contracts with clients Strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle non-routine assignments independently Extremely client focused and pro-active in all levels of communication Identifies business cycles such as timing and seasonal trends, and able to customise products and services, to meet or exceed the respective needs of the clients What moves you?
