To support data collection and collation for the service. To assist in reporting key performance indicators for the pathway. Audio-typing, copy typing and shorthand of clinic letters (including both hospital and community clinics), community rounds, memos, court reports, discharge summaries, domiciliary visit consultations, medical and psychological reports, DNA letters, etc. Non clinical typing, in particular supporting the development of presentations using Power Point, and preparing training materials, minutes of meetings etc. Managing the service clinic electronic diary along with the diaries of other staff within the service, i.e. arranging meetings, clinical appointments, case discussions etc. To liaise with GPs and other primary care staff, Talking Therapies, Primary and Secondary mental health services, social services and 3rd sector organisations, medical staff in other specialties and professional staff in other departments (i.e. X-Ray, CT scans, Path Lab, A&E, Referral Management Service, Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team, Psychology and Primary Care Team. To arrange domiciliary visit consultations, etc. To arrange and co-ordinate training and supervision sessions provided by MDT staff. To deal with telephone enquiries from GPs, patients, social workers, CPNS, ward staff, etc., regarding medication queries, appointments, referrals, etc. To deal with emergencies as required (i.e. telephone calls from distressed patients and distraught relatives). To open Service mail and deal with routine matters not requiring the team manager attention. To download the service e-mails and deal with routine matters not requiring the MDT and/ Team Managers attention. Photocopying documents and letters as required (including case notes). To file correspondence in case notes in a timely manner, i.e. blood results, letters, ECGs, CT brain scans, patient information, etc. To assume responsibility for patients case notes, ensuring that they are safely dispatched to wards, departments and other sites across the Trust footprint, as required. To maintain the electronic tracking system for case-notes. Releasing patient information only to authorised persons. To collate information and present to the team as needed. To locate case notes when required. To check patient information by using the PARIS system. Administration work relating to the processing of travel expense claim forms for payment.
