You will work alongside three other engineers, two Identity & Access Management engineers, a Tech Lead, a Principal Engineer and our dedicated Agile Delivery Lead and Business Analyst. What You’ll Be Doing As a key member of the Endpoint & Collaboration team, you will play a vital role in shaping the technological landscape at Dunelm. As one of our engineers, your responsibilities include ownership of endpoint management, collaboration tools / hardware, file storage / retention, mail flow and delivery, SaaS solution onboarding and productivity suite management. We are also leading the adoption of generative AI at Dunelm, providing an exciting opportunity for you to be involved. You will work across the entire project lifecycle, from solution discovery and design, through to proof of concept, implementation and support transition. This is a unique chance to engage with all facets of the business, understand key processes, and lead the roll-out of new services and devices to our colleagues. In addition to our engineering responsibilities, we serve as a 3rd line escalation point for colleagues in our department. You'll be actively involved in our Point of Contact (POC) rota, where you'll assist and educate team members from other departments. Following a thorough onboarding process, you'll also be integrated into out-of-hours on-call rota. Our Agile methodologies ensure a dynamic work environment with regular ceremonies, feedback sessions, and roadmap reviews. Every opinion is valued, taken on board, and used to form our strategic roadmap. What We Look For Essential Skills Advanced knowledge of administrating Microsoft 365 technologies such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Office 365, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Teams. Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Online – Designing, building, and managing a modern intranet and collaboration platform. In depth knowledge of email technologies and standards (SPF, DMARC, DKIM, BIMI) In depth knowledge of Windows client operating systems. In depth knowledge of Apple operating systems (MacOS, iOS, iPadOS). In depth knowledge of collaboration technologies (SharePoint Online, Teams / Teams Room, Slack) Working knowledge of Identity Management tools such as Active Directory, Entra ID, and Google Cloud Identity. Working knowledge of user provisioning, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication. Working knowledge device provisioning technologies using Autopilot and SCCM. Up to date understanding of common attack surfaces/vectors and RBAC/least privileged access. Proven experience of successfully delivering large scale projects both solo and as part of a team. Experience working in a team using Agile methodologies. Articulate and able to educate others on work we have completed both verbally and in writing. Desirable Skills Microsoft MD-100/101or MD-102 certification. File Storage – Cloud storage, edge-computing, external sharing, and permissions. Google Workspaces – User administration, knowledge of Analytics, Big Query and Tags. Jamf – Device management, application and security patch deployment, and scripting. Ideally at Jamf 100 or above level. Mimecast – Administration and investigation. Automation and using technologies such as PowerShell/PowerApps. Microsoft 365 Security – DLP, Rights Management and Data Classification. Slack – User management and application management.
