About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious Occupational Therapist to join our team at a Barchester independent mental health hospital. As an OT, you will establish and develop our therapy services to improve patients' quality of life through clinical-related occupational therapy intervention guided by their specific needs and ambitions.
You will lead a multi-disciplinary team in developing and implementing treatment programmes, regularly monitoring and evaluating the OT service. Additionally, you will inspire and motivate Occupational Therapy Assistants in your team, ensuring they follow agreed policies and procedures, including those under the Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
As an Occupational Therapist at Barchester, you will create a safe and supportive environment where patients can achieve the best possible outcomes.
About You
* An ambitious Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Experience in the mental health environment is ideal.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Able to effectively control budgets, utilise resources, and provide statistical returns on the service as requested.
* Dedicated and experienced individual passionate about helping patients get the most out of life.
Estimated Salary Range: Based on the title, job description, and location, we estimate the salary for this role to be around £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus benefits.
