An opportunity has become available for you to join our team at St Oswald's Hospital, located in Ashbourne. The role involves performing portering duties to support services within DCHS.
The post holder will undertake a wide range of duties to include, movement of patients, moving and distribution of supplies, linen, mail, waste, specimens and furniture as required.
Will be responsible for liaising with delivery drivers and directing delivery vehicles onto Trust sites.
The cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas.
Undertake on-site internal and external security checks.
Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade as allocated by the manager.
The post holder may also be expected to work on other hospital sites across DCHSas and when required.
