The Role: As the Clinical Services Manager – Transformation, you will be instrumental in driving meaningful change across the SACT treatment unit and pharmacy department. This 12-month fixed-term role is ideal for a proactive and strategic healthcare professional with a passion for transformation, quality improvement, and operational excellence. Success in this role requires someone who can take a hands-on yet collaborative approach—working alongside clinical leads and the wider team to embed sustainable improvements that enhance patient safety, service efficiency, and overall quality. While this position does not have direct reports, you will provide expert guidance and support to ensure the medical oncology centres operate in the most effective and safe way possible. Your focus will be on optimising service delivery, ensuring compliance with clinical quality standards, and fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement. You will drive data-led decision-making, oversee incident investigations, and support workforce development through competency assessments and structured development plans. What You'll Do: Provide exceptional leadership by embodying the GenesisCare purpose and values, fostering a centre-wide culture that aligns with our core principles. Support the Centre Leader in executing the quality and clinical operations strategy, continually striving for excellence and working towards an outstanding CQC rating. Lead and manage the governance of both clinical and non-clinical services under your remit, ensuring their efficient and high-quality delivery. Drive and promote a culture of continuous improvement, using insights from incidents, near misses, complaints, compliments, and patient feedback to enhance service quality. Support and lead the implementation of new treatments and services, collaborating closely with the service development team to embed best practices and innovations. What You'll Have: Experience and skills: Proven experience in leading and/or managing clinical services. Experience working within the private healthcare sector. Strong understanding of clinical professional standards and clinical governance requirements. Up-to-date clinical knowledge relevant to the area of practice. Awareness of professional Codes of Conduct and accountability. Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) pillars and evidence requirements. Experience in disseminating learning from incidents, complaints, and compliments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Experience in developing and embedding quality improvement plans within operational management. Familiarity with quality management systems and their application in a healthcare setting. Experience in the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures. Strong ability to work collaboratively and influence a range of stakeholders. Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively Qualifications and Knowledge: Registered healthcare professional with relevant qualifications. Evidence of ongoing professional development in both clinical and managerial areas. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and development. Knowledge and experience of project and programme management tools and techniques.
