Your new role as Head Of Finance:
As Head of Finance, you will work closely with both the Senior Leadership Team on site, and also the CFO of the parent company who are based in the local area. You shall lead from the front as No.1 in finance providing quality financial data in a timely manner. Reporting directly to the CEO you shall be a pivotal member of the Senior Management Team, contributing towards strategic development and the operational management across all areas of the organisation. As Head of Finance you shall play a critical role in helping build financial understanding across the business through effective business partnering, developing positive working relationships in many areas. With responsibility for the production of detailed monthly accounting and supporting analysis for decision making, you shall work closely with the parent company who take the responsibility for financial transaction processing (sales ledger, purchase ledger and payroll). A rounded and rewarding position you shall work closely with the CEO to ensure budgets and forecasted numbers remain a focus.
Main Role Duties:
1. Sole responsibility for the finance function, developing staff and leading on the enhancement of financial information for the SMT
2. Production of detailed monthly/yearly Management Accounts and supporting financial analysis
3. Production of budgets, forecasting and monitoring of performance across the business
4. Lead the finance function whilst working closely with the senior management team
5. Provide an effective business partnering service to the senior leadership team and board
6. Continuous improvements across process and procedure

Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:
You shall have a proven track record of leading a finance team in a commercial and driven environment. With, or working towards a professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CTA) you shall maintain a commercial mind-set with strategic awareness. Hands-on and technically strong you shall be capable of maintaining tight financial controls whilst developing and improving process and financial data. The business may also consider QBE for a well rehearsed lead in finance.
As the no.1 on site, you shall be passionate around professional development and have the ability to coach and develop a small team. As this role is both business partnering and core finance, you shall be able to manage workload and have effective methods to communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
