The role
As a Curriculum Development Lead you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate the curriculum for the various programmes which form the Army Apprenticeships contract.
Day-to-day, you will be ensuring curriculum related polices and procedures are up to date and in line with ESFA, Ofsted and the customers requirements.
1. Update our existing Apprenticeship curriculum, develop any new curriculum and teaching materials.
2. Coordinate with other departments and the Army that teach and develop part of the Apprenticeship curriculum to ensure that our records reflect what is being taught in their area.
3. Coordinate with other departments and the Army to ensure we have assessment results and evidence needed for moderation.
4. Update mapping of Army delivery into the Apprenticeship.
5. Support with the delivery of training to internal team
This role is full time working 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at Lyneham.
Essential experience of the Curriculum Development Lead
6. Considerable experience in a curriculum development role
7. Experience in content design & development
8. Good understanding of work-based learning programmes
9. An understanding of engineering qualifications and apprenticeships.
10. To have previously designed curriculums, taking a set on standards and creating a programme of delivery and content.
11. To be able to look at what is currently being delivered on a programme and be able to see when that evidence can be utilised/RPL/mapped into another programme.
Qualifications for the Curriculum Development Lead
12. Engineering qualifications minimum level 3

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
