Job overview
The post holder will be required to assist in the delivery of typing to the secretaries and medical staff within the specialty. The post holder will undertake general typing.
The post holder will assist in general admin tasks if required and requested by the hub leader.
1 x 10 hours over 2 days

The post holder will undertake general typing.
Support will be provided by the Medical Secretary and Senior Medical Secretary within the Specialty Team.

Qualifications
* GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
* Willingness to undergo any further training and development
* RSA 1 Word processing or equivalent experience
* ECDL/CLAIT
Experience/Knowledge
* Recent experience of working in an office/ward environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Access)
* Experience of maintaining admin systems
* Experience of reception/clerical duties
* Understanding of the need for confidentiality
* Experience of Microsoft Excel and Access.
* Experience in Medical Records
* Experience of working with medical case notes
* Experience of working for the NHS
* Experience of accessing information from Intranet/Internet
* Working knowledge of Patient Administration systems (PAS)
* Knowledge of medical terminology
