Referral Account Manager (Internal/External) £24,000 – £28,000 per annum + OTE

We are an Ofsted grade 2 independent training provider who have specialised in providing training within the sector for over 56 years. The Manchester site is well established as the largest specialist logistics training facility in the UK.
Through our two key brands, The Job Gym and The National Logistics Academy, we help thousands of individuals each year to gain new skills. This enables our learners to obtain employment within the logistics sector and drives the long-term growth of the industry.
We work with some of the biggest brands in the country, including Aldi, Wincanton, and AO, delivering approximately 400 Apprenticeships, over 2500 Large Goods Vehicle licences, and 1,100 Forklift Truck licences each year. The organisation is dedicated to delivering interventions that develop the ‘Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours to enable learners to thrive in life and work’.
The Role
Our Referral Account Managers ensure that strong relationships are built and maintained with the key stakeholders within our referral partners. By excellent communication, sharing of learner successes, and a professional representation of the Job Gym GM brand, the objective is to be recognised as the preferred supplier for all referral partners to signpost their candidates for training and support.
Your duties will include:
1. Develop opportunities with referral partners and employers
2. Generate sales leads through a variety of methods
3. Manage Recruitment Agency enquiries
4. Work closely with Management to schedule and fill cohorts
5. Present Information sessions both face to face and via Microsoft TEAMS
6. Attend Jobs Fairs and other events to promote our offer
7. Analyse market trends/monthly reporting to Line Manager
Essential Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications:
1. Sales orientated with the ability to pitch in a personal and professional manner or a background in recruitment
2. Proven experience of relationship building
3. Experience of providing an excellent standard of customer service
4. GCSE A-C or equivalent in Maths and English and be computer literate
Desirable but not essential Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications:
1. Understanding of government funded training programs (preferred)
