The Chef de Partie will be responsible foroverseeing a specific section of the kitchen operations includingfood preparation recipe development and ensuring that all dishesare cooked to the highest quality standards. The successfulcandidate will have a passion for creating delicious dishes be ableto work effectively in a fastpaced environment and have a proventrack record of working collaboratively as part of a highperformingkitchen team.
KeyResponsibilities:
* Prepareand cook dishes according to menu specifications and recipesensuring that all dishes are cooked to the highest qualitystandards
* Oversee the preparation ofingredients
* Assist with menu planning andrecipe development making suggestions for new dishes and improvingexisting ones
* Ensure compliance with foodsafety and hygiene standards and maintain all necessarydocumentation to ensure adherence toregulations
* Train supervise and motivate juniorkitchen staff ensuring that they are meeting performance standardsand that their professional development needs aremet
* Collaborate with the management team todevelop and implement strategies to drive sales andprofitability
* Maintain a clean organised andsafe kitchen environment ensuring that all equipment iswellmaintained and functioningproperly
Qualifications:
* Provenexperience as a chef de partie or line cook in a highvolumerestaurant environment
* Excellent culinaryskills and knowledge of international and regionalcuisines
* Experience in food preparation andrecipe development
* Strong leadership andmanagement skills with the ability to motivate and inspire ateam
* Excellent communication and interpersonalskills with the ability to build strong relationships with staffand customers
* Strong organisational skills withthe ability to manage multiple taskssimultaneously
* Demonstrated ability to workeffectively in a fastpaced environment
* Abilityto work flexible hours including evenings andweekends
