Job Title: Supply Teacher - Skelmersdale Location: North West England, Lancashire, Skelmersdale Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time Salary: £130 - £160 Per day Job Description We are currently seeking a qualified Supply Teacher for a temporary position in Skelmersdale, North West England. This is a full-time role, with an expected workload of 5 days per week. Job Duties: Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students based on the school's curriculum. Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment for students. Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development. Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities to enhance your own teaching skills. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. Thorough knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and teaching standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of diverse learners. At least 1 year of experience working in a classroom setting. Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field. Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as a teacher in a school setting. Experience working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds. Knowledge and Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of effective teaching strategies and assessment methods. Strong classroom management skills. Ability to build rapport with students and create engaging learning experiences. Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in relevant subject areas.
