Help students map their future! At Co-op Academy Walkden, we are seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to engage young minds in the fascinating study of our world.
As a Teacher of Geography, you will help to implement and deliver an exciting, knowledge-rich curriculum that is thoughtfully sequenced and is informed by expert subject knowledge and the latest educational research.
At the top of your game, you’ll have great behaviours, strong organisational skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and be able to work constructively as part of a team. How and why you do things matters greatly to us, as does your ability to use your initiative, work independently and be resilient.

Our academy serves the local communities of Worsley, Boothstown and Walkden and provides places for 1500 pupils aged 11-16. We are easily commutable from all areas of the North West. This was highlighted in our recent Ofsted inspection (May 2023), where we were graded ‘Good’ in all areas.
