We’re currently looking for a Facilities Manager based in Milton Keynes. In this role, you will oversee activities of Facilities Management (FM) managed within delivery areas and work alongside nominated Delivery teams responsible for FM to monitor compliance of facilities with legislative requirements. You will carry out assurance of the sites and compo unds to demonstrate compliance with legislative requirements and in conjunction with commercial team, contract management of hard and soft service providers. With support of Project Health & Safety Teams you will produce and oversee the Fire Plans at all establishments, ensuring the right people are in place to enact the plans. You will interview and hire facility employees and Subcontractors, such as maintenance staff and janitorial services as required. You will also prepare and produce reports for Works Superintendent and facility owners as required and support the delivery team emergency situations involving facilities. Part of this role is also to collaborate with Subcontractors and other stakeholders to develop the most efficient, effective and sympathetic solutions to support the business. You will ensure the business complies with regulations and update policies and processes when required and maintain records, proving that the office environment is compliant with regulations.
