How you’ll be contributing to Accurx as an IT Systems Engineer…
The IT team at Accurx is responsible for managing and supporting the workplace technologies used internally within and throughout the business by employees. As the IT Systems Engineer, you’ll primarily be responsible for the implementation, ongoing maintenance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the corporate IT infrastructure (including a wide range of hardware, software, systems and services) within a cloud first technology environment, ensuring that IT systems are fit for use and purpose.
Working in a small team and reporting to the IT Lead, you’ll assist in the analysis, evaluation, design, testing and delivery of IT solutions, proactively identifying and helping to solve business problems, and improving IT operations, business processes and user experience through the use of technology.
You’ll deliver on key technical initiatives & projects in the IT roadmap, and you’ll apply modern IT practices to help streamline the management, operations and delivery of IT systems and services, driving forward technological change.
You’ll also provide day-to-day 3rd line IT support, handling and solving technical escalations and problems from other members of the IT team and end users across the business, and on occasion, assisting the team in providing 1st/2nd line IT support directly to end users when necessary.

We'd really like to hear from you, if...
* You have strong knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure management, systems administration and implementation, particularly in the areas of: cloud computing & applications (SaaS), application & patch management, MDM, IAM, SSO, virtualisation, storage, networks, and system/network monitoring & alerting.
* You’re an expert in a wide range of technologies including: Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft 365 & Azure, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Kandji, Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, OpenVPN, Cisco Meraki, VMware vSphere, VMs.
* You have experience creating scripts using one or more scripting languages (such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript) to automate processes and tasks.
* You have knowledge and experience of 3rd party systems and application integrations, including APIs, webhooks, and Integration Platform as a service (IPaaS).
* Ideally you have knowledge and experience with GitHub repositories, source code version control, managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD.
* You understand information security and data protection concepts, know how to adequately secure IT systems and how to manage, remediate and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
