To seek out and take orders over the telephone in accordance with company procedures and customer account terms and credit limits.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES :
Pro-actively seeking and taking customer orders using telephone and email.
Using the companys computer system to process orders, and other sales related activities.
Answering incoming telephone calls. Where these are not related to sales transferring them to the relevant department.
Assisting in monitoring and developing existing customer accounts.
Assisting in seeking out and opening new customer accounts.
Communicating to the customer: product, pricing, special offers, technical advice and from time to time other relevant information.
Helping to collect market information (competitor products, market trends, pricing, new sizes etc)
Liaison with both your Sales Manager and other members of your sales team, relaying all relevant customer and market information.
Dealing with both customer and end user queries including returns and warranty claims and offering technical advice when qualified to do so.
Assisting with the raising of credit notes.
From time to time visiting both existing and potential customers.
Assisting in the preparation and presenting of sales, marketing and technical materials.
Attending shows, exhibitions and events, and assisting in their preparation.
To carry out other sales and marketing activities as directed by your Sales Manager.
