Job summary An administrative Co-ordinator is required to provide administrative, telephone and data system support within the Buckingham Adult Community Healthcare Team in an efficient, effective and high-quality manner The post holder will be responsible for the coordination of their workload to meet the demands of the District Nursing service, and those within the management team where appropriate for ensuring necessarily follow up actions and deadlines are met. The successful candidate will be computer literate and able to use excel and word. Candidates must have an excellent telephone manner.The team delivers services to patients in their own homes and the administrator acts as first point of contact for service users and referrers to the service. You will enjoy the challenge of working in a busy environment and have the ability to stay calm under pressure. The team provides a 7 day service and therefore the successful applicant will be required to work occasional weekends and bank holidays. Main duties of the job To provide administrative support as required, including the production of routine correspondence, typing, data input and maintenance of a confidential, effective and efficient filing and retrieval system. To manage Clinical Leads diary - looking after meeting bookings using Outlook to maintain dairies and meeting management. To support other management team members with management and admin tasks where necessary.
