WW Sr. GTM Specialist for Database Services, Global Financial Services, WWSO Global Financial Services
Job ID: 2844866 | AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch)
Are you a customer-obsessed builder with a passion for helping customers achieve their full potential? Do you have the business savvy, Data & AI background, and sales skills necessary to help position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for customers? Do you love building new strategic and data-driven businesses?
Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) GFS Data & AI Specialists team as a Database GTM Specialist!
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Within SMGS, The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) works backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses.
AWS is looking for a Database GTM Specialist, who will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for helping customers in designing solutions that leverage our Database services. You will interact with other Database Specialists in the field, providing guidance on their customer engagements, and you will develop sales plays, use cases, campaigns, joint-partner motions, and presentations to enable customers and partners to fully leverage Amazon Web Services.
You will also create field enablement materials for the broader field teams and help them understand how to integrate AWS Database solutions into customer workloads and architectures. You drive effective feedback gathering from customers, partners, and consolidate that feedback into clear business and technical requirements for product and engineering teams to review.
Candidates must have great communication skills and be deep in database functional capabilities and technical implementations to engage AWS customers at any level, from executive to developer. Previous experience with AWS is desired but not required, provided you have experience building large scale solutions.
This position specifically is part of the WWSO GFS Specialists team, where you will be a Technical Business Developer that helps global financial services organizations adopt AWS’ technologies with a focus on Amazon Database services portfolio (i.e. RDS, Aurora, ElastiCache, DynamoDB, Redshift, DocumentDB, Neptune), among others.
