Day-to-day of the role:
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in the classroom.
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Support students with personal care needs, if required.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor and report on student progress.
* Assist with classroom management and organization.
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred.
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential).
