About LARCH
LARCH is a new union, formed from the previous congregations of Leith St Andrew’s, Pilrig St Paul’s and Restalrig St Margaret’s. The congregation puts a high value on reaching out to young people in our community and finding new and innovative forms of worship and ministry relevant to 21st century life. We are looking for a new Children, Youth and Family worker to join us in helping to deliver these objectives, building on foundations established in the previous congregations.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
1. Have significant recent experience in working with children and youth and their extended families.
2. Identify, plan and implement relevant activities.

About the Ministry Assistant Role
We are looking for a Ministry Assistant who will concentrate on the first Mark of Mission to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom, with the postholder largely focusing on Sunday work.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have significant recent experience in leading worship and preaching with a good knowledge and understanding of congregational life of the Church of Scotland or be willing to learn. The candidate must be a committed Christian with an active Church connection (Genuine Occupational Requirement in terms of the Equality Act 2010) and have a relevant qualification in theology/pastoral care/counselling or similar, or significant, relevant and recent work experience in the area.

About the Service Coordinator Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Coordinator with Turning Point Scotland where no two days are the same! This frontline management role will include:
1. Being responsible for both directly undertaking initial and ongoing assessments of people we support and overseeing team members to do so.
2. Providing informal and formal support, feedback, induction, engagement period reviews, appraisal and supervision to staff.
3. Devising, reviewing and updating support plans, recording events and observations, and keeping appropriate records as required in the service both directly and managing staff to do so.
4. Providing leadership to staff to support people in accordance with their support plan, the principles of citizenship and to maintain records correctly.
5. Assisting the service manager to prepare information and the service for inspections/audits or similar and to contribute to these processes.

You will be supported by an incredibly approachable management team, allowing you to expand on your existing knowledge whilst developing new skills. You will have flexibility to work on a rota.
North East Edinburgh Recovery Hub
The North East Recovery Hub is a one-stop shop which offers a full range of drug and alcohol treatment and support services. We are a multi-disciplinary team comprising of Voluntary Sector TPS, NHS and social work staff. We are based with our main office in Leith, and a satellite location in Craigmillar.
We understand that everybody’s experience is different. When people come to the Hub, we personalise their care to achieve their goals.
The support we provide is always person-centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, including family and friends, other health and social work professionals, advocacy services and our own staff members.

Housing Support Fife
Housing Support Fife is a service providing housing support in the Levenmouth, Glenrothes and North East Fife area. Bethany Christian Trust is looking for a support worker to be part of this team. The successful postholder will work as part of a team delivering flexible and creative support to vulnerable people to meet their housing needs and help them maintain their tenancies.
You will have a proven record as a team player with excellent communication skills; you will have experience and knowledge of the service user group and their surrounding issues. We would welcome applicants with lived experience of these issues. Competence in the use of Microsoft Office tools is essential. An SVQ 3 in Social Care, Promoting Independence or equivalent as listed by SSSC as appropriate for a ‘Housing Practitioner’ is desirable; the willingness to work towards this is essential.

Pastoral Care Coordinator Role
We seek an individual to work alongside the Ministry Team, to take on the Pastoral Care Coordinator role within the Lower Earn Network (Abernethy, Aberdalgie & Forteviot, Dunbarney & Forgandenny). You will manage the range and quality of pastoral care and work alongside us, with a God-given passion for compassionate care for others and a desire to bring God’s presence, comfort, strength and hope to anyone in need.
As such, the Pastoral Care Coordinator is expected to be actively involved in the life of the congregations. Whilst there is no requirement for the individual to live in the parish, it is expected that their activities will take place within the geographical bounds of the Lower Earn Network.
