About the role
Support Staff Recruitment
The TA Advisor leads on all support staff recruitment, providing end-to-end solutions for stakeholders, leading the engagement with applicants, third-party suppliers, and other external providers.
1. Liaise with internal stakeholders to scope support staff vacancies and agree sourcing strategies.
2. Lead on third-party sourcing strategies.
3. Conduct initial interviews for support staff applicants to EIP.
4. Arrange interviews and associated testing for applicant interviews.
5. Manage the progress of support staff vacancies in the Owls ATS.
6. Finalize all successful hires, including effective offer management with preferred applicants.
7. Advise on EIP’s market position within the support market and balance that with EIP’s commercial objectives to provide advice to stakeholders on the same.
8. Work with stakeholders on recruitment process improvements for each department including interview testing.
9. Optimize the use of the MS Co-Pilot AI tool to drive efficiencies in the recruitment processes for which they are responsible.
It is envisaged that the TA Advisor will also become responsible for a direct sourcing strategy for support staff and will engage in the search for and headhunting of talent using platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Additional Responsibilities
In addition, the TA Advisor will support the fee earning recruitment activities (led by the Head of Talent Acquisition), providing support in busy periods and working with stakeholders and external recruitment partners in the absence of the Head of TA.
The TA Advisor will be expected to become a superuser on the ATS and maintain accurate records relating to their recruitment processes and work with the Head of TA on process improvements.
The TA Advisor will also help represent TA on business-wide groups, including but not limited to EIP's DE&I initiatives.
To be successful in this role you will meet the following essential criteria:
Practical Experience:
1. 1-3 years recruitment/TA experience.
2. The role would particularly suit someone coming from a legal or other professional services support desk in a recruitment firm or a role within a law/professional services business where they have focused on support staff vacancies.
3. Stakeholder management skills – it is important that the successful candidate can take these responsibilities on autonomously.
4. Experience in interviewing applicants at a range of levels and/or disciplines.
5. Persuasive and influencing skills.
6. Experience of ‘pitching’ roles and businesses to applicants.
7. Offer management skills – gained either in-house or by closing deals in a recruitment firm.
8. Excellent written communication skills.
9. Presentable, credible, and confident when in a face-to-face setting.
10. Strong IT skills. We are a tech-led organization and make use of the most up-to-date technologies available.
