The Opportunity
Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for a rewarding role in Key Stage 1? We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment, helping young learners develop essential skills and a love for learning.
The Role
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Support students in their academic and personal development as they transition through Key Stage 1.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and motivated.
Assess and track pupil progress, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
Work closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and parents to support students with diverse learning needs.
What We're Looking For
? Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
? Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 2.
? Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, phonics, and early literacy/maths strategies.
? Ability to create a nurturing and structured classroom environment.
? Passion for supporting children's academic and emotional development.
