Our client serves a diverse range of clients, including Main Contractors as well as those in the public and private sectors, across commercial, industrial, and large-scale domestic markets. As a Multiskilled M&E Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide variety of mechanical and electrical systems, while also supporting project commissioning, inspections, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Responding to unplanned issues, equipment faults, and emergencies. Diagnosing faults, identifying the need for spare parts, and performing necessary repairs. Ensuring equipment is fully operational after repairs or maintenance. Conducting quality inspections on completed work. Prioritizing and planning workload to meet client and business needs. Completing accurate, timely documentation and records. Assisting with the procurement of specialist components and equipment. Supporting the commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems. Liaising with coordinators and other team members to ensure smooth operations. Writing and implementing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods. Following health and safety procedures and ensuring compliance. Providing support to other teams and departments as required. Being available for on-call duties as part of a rota. Essential Qualifications & Skills: Electrical qualifications – 18th Edition and relevant C&G / NVQ’s. Plumbing / HVAC related qualifications to Minimum NVQ Level 3 Full UK driving licence. Computer literate with strong communication skills. Presentable appearance and ability to complete accurate paperwork. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical practices. Test and inspect qualifications desirable but not essential. Experience in designing and implementing maintenance strategies and procedures. Knowledge of commissioning processes in both mechanical and electrical systems.
