Your Team Teach training is essential in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour, creating a safe and structured learning environment where pupils can thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting students with SEMH and additional needs that present with challenging behaviour.
* Using Team Teach strategies to help manage behaviour and promote positive outcomes.
* Assisting in lessons and structured activities to keep pupils engaged and learning.
* Building strong, trusting relationships to help young people develop self-confidence and resilience.
* Working flexibly within a variety of educational settings.
What We’re Looking For:
* A current Team Teach qualification (essential).
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs (preferred).
* A proactive, patient, and resilient approach to working with young people.
* Access to your own transport is preferred, as it will allow you to take advantage of a wider range of opportunities across Pontefract, Castleford, Knottingley, and surrounding areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
