Working hours: 0 hours Contract Type: Relief/Casual Location: Blackwood Miners Institute This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Regeneration and Planning team. We pay an attractive salary of £14.36 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities. Blackwood Miners' Institute is recruiting two Duty Managers working on a casual contract with variable hours depending on performances to be covered. Working days will vary depending on the performances scheduled each week, so the successful candidates will need to be extremely flexible to cover the programme and will certainly need to be available on weekends. The post-holders are required to lead the team during performances and are, therefore, expected to have significant experience in all aspects of theatre and venue front of house operations, including bar service, customer care and audience control. For the role, we ask that you have: A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales and/or Level 3 Emergency First Aid at work or required to obtain this qualification within a timescale agreed on appointment. A good knowledge of health and safety and associated policies in a theatre/performing arts environment. The proven ability to supervise and manage a team.
