Reports to: Senior New Partnerships Manager
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week, we are open to flexible working requests such as compressed hours.
Location: Stratford, London Office-based with high flexibility (1-2 days per week in the office).

There is an exciting manager vacancy in Cancer Research UK’s New Partnerships Team. This role is responsible for building high value partnerships with corporates and commercial entities to raise both income and awareness, working towards our mission of beating cancer sooner.
You will develop a pipeline of potential partners, working creatively and with passion to create compelling pitches and partner packages, with the aim to secure their commitment to a mutually beneficial partnership with us.
What will I be doing?
1. Responsibility for managing and developing a pipeline of prospects that meet the objectives and priorities of CRUK’s strategy and the Partnership Team’s strategy.
2. Responsibility for developing prospects through a sales pipeline process.
3. Collaborating with the Partnerships Managers to support the acquisition of new partnerships and the development of existing partnerships.
4. Working with the Senior New Partnerships Managers to share insights on your discrete area of focus and identify opportunities for prospects within sectors, industry, and partnership types.
5. Being responsible for the successful transition of new partnerships to the Partnership Management function.
6. Designing bespoke, compelling partnership plans and strong proposals to meet the prospect’s objectives and CRUK strategic aims, using your strong understanding of CRUK’s key campaigns, sub-brands and strategic priorities.
7. Leading pitches and application processes, working collaboratively to deliver the opportunities through a matrix way of working.
8. Building networks and relationships within external organisations to influence decision makers and secure new opportunities.
