As an Assembly Director, you will be responsible for driving the human, financial, and industrial business unit operations. Your key responsibilities will include industrialising, producing, and ensuring product quality at the targeted cost to the business. You will also ensure the advancement of business unit operations according to the continuous improvement plan and assure customer satisfaction in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide concurrent engineering support to external suppliers for produced parts.
* Ensure manufacturability by internal or external achievement in the context of development, production, and series parts.
* Manage detailed design, industrialisation, and modifications.
* Manufacture products consistent with the technical definition using the best production management resources and systems.
* Manage internal inventory levels and costs.
* Assure manufacturing and support for spare and service parts throughout the life of the product.
* Ensure the security and integrity of the data provided within the information systems.
* Drive projects to improve information systems.
* Assure the targets set for the direct and indirect costs and the operating values for the UAP.
* Implement the HR policy in coordination with the HR Department.
* Ensure vacancies are filled by qualified personnel and that onboarding, training, and skills development plans are in place.
* Manage the union relations for the business unit.
* Develop and manage succession and talent management plans.
* Identify risks and develop robust improvement plans for Health, Safety, and Environmental considerations.

Expertise Required:
* Global and trans-functional vision of the UAP
* Detailed vision of the production processes and the company's supply chain
* Proficiency in the MRPII process and business economics
* Team management in a matrix environment
* Proficiency in communicating with English-speaking UAP/Suppliers, both verbally and in writing
* APICS CPIM or working towards or other relevant business qualification
* Familiarity with information systems used in the supply chain (e.g., ERP, Supplier Portal)
* Strong decision-making and negotiation skills
* Ability to analyse complex problems, summarise them, and find solutions
* Capacity to gauge the importance of drifts and anticipate consequences
