Job Description Support Services Manager – Water Frameworks Location: Grangemouth As the Support Services Manager within our Morrison Construction Water Frameworks business in Scotland, you will be a member of the senior management team responsible for key functions delivering high value Scottish Water projects. Working out of our Grangemouth office, you will manage a high performance team working across multiple areas of the business to deliver projects and services that exceed our clients expectations and achieve our Sustainable Growth Strategy What you will be doing: Managing a team of Data and Technical staff you will ensure legislative compliance across all our NRSWA noticing functions and support quality compliance on reinstatement works including defect rectification, all in line with the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Roads. Liaise with the central Project Management Office (PMO) to capture data and provide the business with timely and accurate reporting on future pipeline and live projects at Operations and Business Unit level. Undertake internal audits on projects (including sites) and other parts of the organisation and provide support as required during external audits. Support projects to ensure all customer and stakeholder engagement is carried out through preparation of letters and other communications, arranging community drop-in events, organising volunteering opportunities and other forms of support to local communities. Monitor and manage Performance Measures and dashboards in all areas of the business ensuring KPI’s and KPC’s are in line with our expectations, including the collation, recording and reporting of performance data and providing support to Construction Managers, Project Managers and project teams. Lead Social Value initiatives that contribute to our local communities and organisations and charitable events. Represent our business as a Carbon Champion, driving our Beyond Net Zero and sustainability agenda, supporting our teams in gathering and sharing data, educating our people and improving the visibility of our carbon performance to help inform operational decisions. Co-ordinate post contract reviews to ascertain best practice and lessons learned and share results across the business. Lead by example in demonstrating the attitudes and behaviours that underpin our culture and create a knowingly safe, inclusive and collaborative working environment Extract and collate project information in support of Research & Development, Innovation and Incentivisation proposals. Organise and run Wellbeing promotions and events in conjunction with our HS&E and Wellbeing teams and ensure alignment with our behavioural safety programme and other campaigns. Plan, prepare and facilitate collaborative workshops as and when required. Work with our Operations, Assurance and Commercial teams to ensure the effective induction and onboarding of people, including our supply chain partners. Champion the pursuit and adoption of innovation across all areas. About You: Promote a positive Health, Safety, Environment and Quality culture. Proven experience in successfully managing multiple teams contributing to their professional development. Track record of developing a performance culture. Effective communication skills adept at interfacing with multiple stakeholders both internal and external. Financial awareness and commercial acumen. Proven leadership and delegation skills. Water Sector and other relevant Civil Engineering related experience is desirable Microsoft Office 365 proficiency.
