Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield, NG17 Working days: Monday to Friday Working hours: Start times may vary daily between 5am to 7am Pay rate: £12.23 per hour Blue Arrow Derby are looking for a Drivers Mate to work for our client based in Sutton-in-Ashfield The role requires flexibility, shifts starts may vary daily - this will be confirmed in advance. You will be paired up with experienced HGV Drivers, delivering kitchen products to businesses and customers homes. Excellent customer service skills are paramount as you will be making phone calls to customers and liaising with them face to face daily. Also, Attention to detail is crucial due to the nature of the work, ensuring the correct items are delivered to the highest standards. You must be able to know how to load a vehicle properly, how to strap furniture / work tops etc to a van, and how to speak to customers in a professional way. If you love the open road, have strong interpersonal skills, and enjoy working as part of a supportive team, you could make a great Kitchen Delivery Mate. We are looking for a real self-starter, someone who enjoys juggling a hectic workload, puts customers first and provides the best service to make a difference, despite the daily challenges you can expect on the road What we are looking for: Previous experience in a similar role is desired Ability to lift heavy items (white goods included). Excellent customer service skills Reliability and trustworthiness Ability to travel to Sutton in Ashfield Flexibility to work any shifts according to the needs of the client Excellent customer service skills and polite telephone etiquette.
