About Crystal Care Home
Crystal Care Home is proudly operated by Dr Louise May Ltd., a trusted provider of nursing and home care services across Liverpool and the Wirral since 2013.
The company was founded by Dr Louise May, a Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience in the NHS and 18 years as a nursing lecturer, alongside her husband Colm Byrne, also a Registered Nurse. Together, they launched a nursing agency to supply high-quality nursing staff to the care home sector. This was followed by the establishment of a home care service, which was duly registered with the Care Quality Commission.
With over 88 years of combined experience in general and mental health nursing among the family members involved in the business, Crystal Care Home delivers care built on expertise, compassion, and trust.
Importantly, elderly members of the founding family’s own household receive care from Crystal Care Home staff, reflecting a guiding principle: if the care is good enough for their mum and dad, it’s good enough for every resident and their loved ones.
