Responsibilities:
* Patient Care : Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to individuals with a range of medical needs, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being at all times.
* Collaborative Care Planning : Work closely with doctors, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
* Medication and Treatment Administration : Safely administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and documentation requirements.
* Monitoring and Reporting : Continuously monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs, and report any significant changes to the medical team. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Patient and Family Education : Educate patients and their families on managing health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques to promote better health outcomes and reduce hospital readmission rates.
* Emotional and Psychological Support : Provide emotional support to patients and families during difficult times, offering reassurance and guidance on coping strategies.
* Infection Control and Safety : Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure patient safety at all times, including reporting any hazards or safety concerns immediately to senior staff.
Qualifications:
* Nursing License : A valid nursing license and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
* Experience : At least 1-2 years of experience as a staff nurse, or in a similar nursing role, with a proven track record of providing high-quality care in diverse settings (e.g., hospitals, clinics, nursing homes).
* Clinical Competence : Strong clinical knowledge and experience in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Familiarity with a wide range of medical conditions and treatments is essential.
* Communication Skills : Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues.
* Resilience and Adaptability : Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to fast-paced, changing environments while providing optimal patient care.

Day-to-Day:
As a Staff Nurse, your day will involve a combination of clinical tasks and patient interaction. You will assess patients' conditions, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure each patient receives optimal care. You will be required to document patient information accurately, educate patients and families on healthcare matters, and provide emotional support when needed. You will also participate in care planning and review meetings and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
