For the successful National Account Manager, our client is offering;
1. £45,000 - £60,000 per Year DOE
2. Monday to Friday
3. A hybrid role. 2 days office-based and 3 days on the road.
4. Perm Role
5. Target related bonus
6. Company Pension
7. 28 days Holiday including Bank Holidays
8. Holiday buyback scheme
The role of the National Account Manager;
9. Reporting to the Commercial Director at HQ in Wales.
10. Manage an existing portfolio of large customers across the retail sector.
11. To develop new business within the retail sector
12. Negotiate pricing, trading terms & promotional activity with customer base
13. Supporting the Commercial Director, working cross-functionally with the wider team to help build and deliver a sustainable, customer-focused strategy for our products
14. Plan & attend trade events with current/new customers.
15. Monitor, disseminate and react to market trends within the categories in which we operate.
16. Working with colleagues and Managers in a professional and collaborative manor in order to develop our business.
17. Championing our customers, reporting on all activities undertaken
18. Updating Management team on total customer performance vs targets.
19. Maintaining a high level of business administration
20. Travelling across the UK
What our client is looking for in a National Account Manager;
21. 3-5 Years experience in FMCG Sales and Account Management - ESSENTIAL
22. Ideally, experience in managing small Retail or Wholesale Accounts such as Regional Cash and Carry or Farm Foods.
23. UK Driving License - ESSENTIAL
24. Excellent communication skills. Both written and verbal.
25. Be flexible on working hours to accommodate client visits and events.
26. Available to travel across the UK.
27. Good Administration experience
28. Excellent PC Skills
