Artemis Human Capital is recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of a leading NI firm with UK presence.
This role combines business development and account management, so we are looking for highly motivated, results-driven professionals with a strong sales background. We are particularly interested in candidates from motor retail looking to transition into fleet sales or those already in a fleet role seeking a new opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular engagement.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities via phone and field-based sales.
3. Sell vehicles primarily through contract hire and other funding solutions.
4. Demonstrate a solid understanding of fleet management and associated services (training provided).
5. Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments.
6. Monitor and report sales activity levels to the Sales Manager.
7. Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
8. Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.
Essential Criteria:
1. 2 to 5 years of B2B sales experience.
2. Strong account management skills.
3. Background in the motor trade (preferred but not essential).
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Confident using technology and business software.
6. Proven track record in new business development through proactive sales efforts.
7. Full driving licence (age 21+ for insurance purposes).
