The People Commissioning, Contracts, Market Management and Quality Assurance Service is responsible for the commissioning, delivery and management of key strategic contracts across the directorate.
As we transform our ways of working, the contracts service is moving to a model of delivery based on presenting risk through a clear structure of portfolios. Work will be managed alongside the all-age approach within the commissioning portfolios of Start Well, Live Well and Age Well. There will be cross-portfolio links and a need for strong interaction and joint work across the whole life-cycle.
We are looking for a new Contracts Officer whose work will be focused on contracts related to all external placements for Children. This will include developing strong relationships with providers, managing contractual expectations and supporting commissioners in the development of services. There will be close working with CSC services, providers, contracts, brokerage and other commissioners.
Opportunities will be available to support the development of a range of commissioning projects, to identify innovative solutions and deliver successful outcomes. Establishing integrated, innovative approaches to meet increased demand and complexity of care needs by building and influencing relationships to achieve results.
