Systems Analyst – Economic Crime £30-£40k depending on experience. About the Organisation We are recruiting for an Economic Crime Systems Analyst for a prominent membership body within the financial services sector, advocating for transparency, competitiveness, and innovation. Although not usually our area of specialism the client has entrusted this important role to us. The Role The Economic Crime Systems Analyst will play a key role in providing operational support and assisting with the development and execution of data and intelligence-sharing initiatives aimed at preventing economic crime. This individual will maintain a strong grasp of the operational dynamics of economic crime-related systems, keeping up to date with industry requirements, technological advancements, and relevant legislation. Key Responsibilities Manage relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, ensuring operational efficiency of economic crime systems. Serve as the first point of contact for users, addressing issues related to system administration, security, user access, training, and onboarding new business clients. Deliver system demonstrations and presentations to external and internal audiences. Oversee and maintain central communication channels, such as inboxes. Support auditing and change management processes related to the systems. Maintain up-to-date user guides, compliance documents, and system logs related to data-sharing activities. Generate regular performance reports on system usage, data quality, and issues. Work across departments on relevant projects and work plans. Key Skills and Competencies Strong proficiency with IT systems, including data gathering, reporting, and analysis. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Highly organized, with strong planning and time-management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Critical thinker with a keen eye for detail. Proactive and self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.
