Teacher of Chemistry
We are looking for a Teacher of Chemistry to join our vibrant Science team.
Science at Blanchelande is a journey of discovery, where pupils explore the interconnected nature of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Through a practical, inquiry-led curriculum in the Lower Seniors (KS3), they develop scientific knowledge and use models to explain real-world phenomena. Pupils examine how scientific advancements drive technology and shape society, while also recognising the global and collaborative nature of modern science.
For GCSE, the department follows the AQA specification, with students sitting either the Combined Trilogy or Separate Sciences. At A-level, we currently follow the Edexcel Chemistry specification.
The postholder must be willing to teach GCSE and A-level Chemistry. There is also the possibility of teaching Chemistry and/or Science across other key stages, from Key Stage Two upwards.

Blanchelande College is a co-educational catholic independent school for boys and girls from age 2 ½ to 18 in Guernsey, the Channel Islands.
