Description Ipswich Housing Action Group (ihAg), Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 2EF £33,782 per annum (pay award pending) 37.5 hours per week Permanent Reference: 0059 Required as soon as possible Your role To provide a professional, effective and quality Housing Service in line with ihAg’s Strategic Plan. Your responsibilities maintaining, administering, and developing contracts with partner organisations particularly those for whom ihAg acts as an agency supervising, appraising and developing the work and skills of the Housing Team acting as ihAg's representative in terms of its landlord functions acting as ihAg’s Competent Person for Health and Safety requirements dealing directly with persistent or complicated arrears cases statistical data collection and presentation. You will need experience of: face to face work with service users working with people with multiple complex needs property maintenance and management directly managing and leading a team housing and housing regulations and legislation. You will be required to have a driving licence and access to your own transport. About us ihAg is a busy local charity supporting people who are at risk of or are experiencing homelessness. The Chapman Centre is a homelessness hub for social interaction, practical support, advice and advocacy. ihAg offers supported accommodation with personalised support to enable people who have lived with homelessness to move towards recovery and independence. The Housing Team manages all aspects of the housing, including rent and maintenance.
