Responsibilities: As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will: Offer one-on-one or small group support to students with SEMH needs. Contribute to establishing a secure, supportive, and encouraging learning environment. Help students effectively manage their emotions and behavior. Partner with teachers and SEN staff to implement personalised education plans. Support and encourage students' growth in social, emotional, and academic areas. Requirements: As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you should have: Prior experience working with SEMH students or in a similar role is highly valued. Patience, resilience, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by SEMH students. Ability to form strong, supportive relationships with students. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one. A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
