Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home Location: Burton on Trent, Staffordshire Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per annum plus bonus of up to £4800 per annum Hours: Full-Time | Permanent Are you a dedicated and experienced leader with a background in Ofsted-regulated children’s residential care? We are seeking a Registered Manager to lead our children’s home with care, integrity and a commitment to excellence. Please note: it is essential that you have experience working in an Ofsted-regulated children’s home, ideally in a management or senior leadership role. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015. Lead, support and develop a team of residential care professionals. Maintain high standards of safeguarding, care planning and risk management. Foster strong relationships with local authorities, partner agencies and families. Ensure the home achieves and maintains high inspection ratings, working towards 'Outstanding' outcomes. Essential Requirements: Experience in an Ofsted-regulated children’s residential home is essential. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards). Strong understanding of children’s residential care legislation and statutory requirements. Proven ability to lead, manage and develop staff teams. A child-centred approach with a genuine desire to improve the lives of young people.
