Facilities Coordinator
TEKsystems are supporting our Multinational Technology client with a Facilities Coordinator requirement. Come join a creative engineering team dedicated to delivering professional solutions to a wide array of material and product related issues. You will help us coordinate equipment and facilities related logistics in our Failure Analysis lab.
The successful consultant should have a deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, fire life safety, and compressed gas delivery systems.
The candidate should also be familiar with local governmental procedures and requirements for laboratories and be willing to provide on-call support in emergencies. This role requires effective communication skills to provide direction to contractors and vendors.
Additional Responsibilities;
Managing the daily operations of a laboratory
Assisting with consumables and equipment purchasing
Managing team assets, and performing asset audits
Handle sample management in the lab, including logistics, storage, and recall/scrap
You will lead the outsourcing of reported failures to third-party labs while complying with security and finance policies.
Collaborating with the Health and Safety team for chemical management, including purchase permits, inventory management, hazardous waste disposal, and safety compliance audits
