Project Controls and Commercial Services (PCCS) is the mechanism in which Sellafield Ltd have engaged KBR Ltd to provide Commercial and Project Controls Services to the portfolio of enterprise projects, in addition to the original PPP programme. Those services include the provision of some 150+ Commercial and Project Controls Professionals across the Sellafield Ltd network of Projects.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Warrington
This is a varied and interesting role where you will:
1. Work across various projects – both pre and post contract management.
2. Utilise the robust Sellafield standardised processes and procedures, and the agreed bespoke contractual procedures.
3. Deliver efficient and highly productive services recognising the constraints of the nuclear environment.
4. Support the sustainability and development of the Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management Services.
5. Have capability and agility to accommodate a varying workflow whilst maintaining continuity of service provision and the ability to respond to future changes in service demand, e.g., the impact of new technologies and changes in governance process and procedures.
6. Ensure robust and secure information channels are developed, and maintained, to improve communications of et al performance reporting, key commercial issues.
To provide support to include but not limited to the following as agreed from time to time:
1. Pre contract administration and support of tender documentation development and issue.
2. Agreeing Work Order/Purchase Orders, evaluation, and certification of monthly interim valuations.
3. Undertaking commercial audits ensuring actions are closed out to agreed timelines, utilising CEMAR as the main tool, with lessons learned captured and embedded in the wider DDP.
4. Review of key contractual documentation ensuring alignment and consistent use across the DDP and making recommendations for improvement.
5. Work with broader DDP teams and Lot Delivery Partners to identify tangible commercial and delivery opportunities and ensure opportunities are captured and invested in appropriate strategies and where appropriate achieved.
6. Contribute and support robust contract administration and associated behavioural change in DDP and the SL Management Team to deliver the identified DDP Business Case benefits, this will include challenging 'custom and practice” where appropriate.
Knowledge and experience required:
1. Use of SAP and certification to SAP ERP business process basics and navigation course.
2. Pre and post contract management.
3. Working knowledge of NEC3 contract suite and contract management practices and procedures.
4. Use of CEMAR.
5. Ability to work with and gain understanding of SL and SL Commercial Procedures.
