Salary: Pay Scale Within: £30,742 - £47,340
The Head Teacher and Management Committee are seeking to appoint a Casual Teacher to join our team of highly motivated professionals who work collaboratively to raise standards at all levels. The applicant must support a positive, nurturing environment where students are encouraged to meet their potential.
We are looking for someone who meets the person specification in the job description and who:
1. Is an excellent classroom practitioner.
2. Is passionate and knowledgeable about children's learning and development, and applies that knowledge in the classroom to secure the best progress possible for all learners.
3. Is confident in working on their own, using their initiative, as well as contributing to the AOLE as a whole.
Relevant knowledge and experience of pupils with ALN would be beneficial. You must have an understanding of the safeguarding principles and child protection procedures. Experience of managing a range of approaches to behaviour, including managing behaviours that challenge would be advantageous.
You will need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) for this post.
